Immergo (lat. drowned) is a symphonic dark metal band from Finland. The group was formed in 2007 and was originally named Drowlich. Immergo's musical influences are symphonic and melodic metalbands such as Dimmu Borgir, Carach Angren, Old Man's Child, Septicflesh, Fleshgod Apocalypse and Vesania, but various other styles of metal can also be heard in their music. Atmospheric string and brass sections, choirs, appealing guitar rhythms, vigorous percussions and growling vocals form the key musical elements of the band's music.
