Metus Crucis was founded in october 2012 by Francesco Pirrone (guitarist and main composer of Warcryer and Dephacer), after some months they released their first self-produced EP, witch is available on soundcloud, dropbox and youtube totally free of charge (metuscrucis.com )
Their soundwriting is based on thrash metal, with some influences from melodic black, death and heavy metal. “Metus Crucis” is Latin for “Fear of the cross”, their lyrics are about the human being and focus on how the religion can limit our freedom.
