Opacia is a progressive death/thrash metal band from Chicago, IL. It started when Luke Sever started combining the speed of thrash metal, with the technicality of progressive death metal.
We play melodic thrash metal, while pulling in influences from death metal and black metal to infuse a dark and technical sound into the already existent relentless style of thrash.
