THE TAMARROS - Fury
This Italian group makes a very interesting instrumental punk rock, minimalism is replaced by a simple structure similar to that of chiptune music, although the band claims to play Syntwave, the reality is that at least on this album you only hear perhaps one Composition supported by some computer tool but the presence of synthesizers is not noticeable, which is why it is heard with an unusual speed similar to that of classic video games. The sound of the basses is heard well elaborated with a very marked base of punk (The world burns) and hard rock (Ukraine), the electric guitars alternate with distorted sounds and clean-sounding solos, for which it is inferred that it is a composition with guitar sound coming from altered or completely virtual recording. The structure of the songs is mostly shown in stages, there is no cyclical structure, sometimes it maintains the same basic rhythm and the same riffs that are adorned by solos throughout the song (Russians Go Home), as well as saxophone solos ( make love not war). On several occasions a virtuosity is felt in the elaboration of the guitar solos that play very well with the bases of punk, rock (hard times) and indie rock (fanatism). Judging by the titles of the lyrics, it is inferred that the theme is completely social and pacifist about supporting Ukraine due to the current military conflict with Russia.
